M10 x 1 Self Forming Thread. Straight Hydraulic Grease Fitting. DIN 71412 Type AS (H1/S)
Self-forming threads can be screwed or driven into an untapped hole. The recommended size of the hole for a M10 x 1 thread is 9.4-9.6mm (Ref DIN 71412) but can be dependent on the material.
Avoid chamfering as a sharp edge to the hole helps the thread bite.
Also available with Zinc Yellow Chromate Finish. Code 609371.
