2. Eligibility to Purchase

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm that the details you provide are accurate and complete.

3. Formation of Contract

  • When you place an order, this is an offer to buy goods from us.
  • We’ll send an order acknowledgment email, but this is not acceptance.
  • A contract is formed only once we send a dispatch confirmation email or ship the goods.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order before a contract is formed — for example, if:

  • The item is out of stock
  • There is a pricing or description error
  • We suspect fraud or misuse

4. Products and Availability

All products are subject to availability. We make every effort to ensure that descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate, but we can’t guarantee that all product information is error-free.

We reserve the right to make minor technical changes to products that do not affect their intended use.

5. Prices and Payment

  • Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT (if applicable), unless otherwise stated.
  • Delivery charges are shown separately during checkout.
  • We take payment at the time of order using secure third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal).
  • We do not store card details.

We take care to ensure prices are accurate but reserve the right to correct errors. If an error affects your order, we’ll contact you to offer the option to cancel or proceed at the correct price.

6. Delivery

  • Delivery is available to UK addresses and other locations shown on our website.
  • Estimated delivery times are provided during checkout but are not guaranteed.
  • We aim to dispatch orders promptly, but delays may occur due to stock levels or courier issues.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you once they are delivered.

You are responsible for providing the correct delivery address. We are not liable for delays or losses caused by incorrect delivery details.

7. Consumer Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)

If you’re a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To cancel:

  • Contact us in writing (email is fine) within 14 days of receiving the goods
  • Return the goods in their original, unused condition within 14 days of notifying us

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the goods are faulty or incorrect.

We will refund:

  • The cost of the goods
  • Standard delivery charges (not express or premium options)
within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you providing proof of return.

8. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will offer a repair, replacement, or refund, in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

You may be asked to provide photographs or return the item for inspection.

9. Returns Process

All returns must be arranged in advance. Please contact us for a return authorisation. Unauthorised returns may be refused.

Goods must be:

  • Unused and in original packaging
  • Returned within the timescales set out in Sections 7 or 8
  • Packaged securely to avoid damage in transit

We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.

10. Warranty and Guarantees

Some products may come with a manufacturer’s warranty. If applicable, warranty details will be provided with the product.

Our obligations under these terms are in addition to your legal rights under UK law.

11. Business Sales

If you are buying on behalf of a business:

  • You confirm that you have authority to bind the business
  • The Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply
  • We exclude all implied terms to the fullest extent permitted by law
  • Our liability is limited to the price paid for the goods

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any other liability which cannot legally be limited

Subject to the above, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of profit, revenue, or business
  • Loss or corruption of data
  • Any indirect, special, or consequential losses
  • Delay or failure caused by events outside our control (e.g. strikes, courier delays, pandemics)

Our total liability is limited to the total price paid for the goods supplied under the relevant order.

13. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If such an event affects your order, we’ll contact you to discuss options, including delays or cancellations.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including product images, text, and logos — is owned by or licensed to Kingfisher Lubrication Ltd. It must not be used without permission.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by English law. If a dispute arises, you or we may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales.
