High Pressure Leak Proof 22mm Diameter Button Head – 113mm long – M16 x 1.5 thread with relief slot – 1 pc

TRANSPORT – A nylon protective cap is fitted over the M16 thread and the complete unit is packed in a nylon net sleeve for added protection when in transit.

SEALS – This button head fitting has a steel check valve and Nitrile “o”ring, a strong stress relieved spring, a Nitrile “o”ring seals the button head unit to the hexagon adaptor. A bonded
washer is supplied to seal the M16 x 1.5 thread on installation. This sealing washer is always recommended.

HAZARD – CARE MUST BE TAKEN as the relief slot will allow a release of pressure when slackening the hydraulic track tensioning system, which may be at high pressure. (consult your equipment manufacturer). Personal protection should be worn to avoid injury.

GREASING – 22mm DIN high pressure coupler must be used for greasing

OPERATION – This fitting is designed to withstand pressure of up to 10,000 psi (69 MPa) whilst charging the tensioning system. It is advised that a non-return valve be fitted to protect the seals when operating the tracks in harsh environments and uneven ground.

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION -To remove or install use a 27mm across flats hexagon spanner (wrench) ONLY.

DO NOT USE THE HEAD OF THE FITTING OR THE 25MM DIAMETER AS THIS MAY JEOPARDISE THE INTERGRITY OF THE ASSEMBLY.
